Roanoke Park 2025 Spring Cleanup!
About 20 neighbors pitched in to get the park looking awesome on Saturday, April 26!!
Spring Cleanup Success! Erin, Michael and Di picked up litter along Roanoke Road while Brian cleaned up around the bluffs above. Pete, Adam, Randy and Scott R. cut bush honeysuckle above Madison and made a giant brush pile. The plantings at Grocer’s Warehouse and Old Roadbed were raked out and weeded by Chris, Grace, Alisha, Jesse and Fletcher. Bob M. worked along Wyoming and Laurie and Lisa roamed after staffing the check in table. Lance and Joe also helped in multiple locations.
Thanks to Broadway Cafe and Roasting for the free coffee station outside the community center!
Thanks to KCMO Parks and Recreation for picking up our brush piles and trash bags.
It was a great way to celebrate Earth Day (week) and show our love to the park!
